The area between Spargoville and Larkinville has been explored for gold and base metals, notably copper-nickel sulphides, from the late 1960’s to the present.
CONCLUSIONS
Review of past exploration failed to identify any evidence of gold or nickel mineralisation on the tenement.

On December 8 2006, the tenement was surrendered.
