He has made a big error. He is dividing the total petajoules from meridian into the $1b figure which is for Westsides share only! The cost to GLNG is in fact $2B.
Not sure where he gets 30-40 pjoules per day. The example cited relies on 40 I would have thought.
I get 40pj x 365 x 20 = 292,000pj or 292,000,000gj. Westside share is 146,000,000gj. Divide that into $1b gives you $6.85 per gigajoule. Of course westside say that it is well in excess of this on the example cited.
