GB I have lived here for quite awhile now, almost local status lol.

Graft is alive and well here with more and more being busted daily in very high profile positions. "Believe me" when I say they haven't even scratched surface here yet. Yes Indonesia needs the revenue but it never quite seems to get past certain individuals...funny that.

The govt here is mindless, slow to act and run but egotistical corrupt individuals. The only time they act swiftly is as result of knee jerk ego driven reactions.

The KPK is doing a brilliant job slowly weeding graft individuals out. However there are more and more identified constantly and guess what. The current govt review legislation that will almost certainly reduce KPKs powers and ability to continue thir brilliant forensic investigations into graft.

They not only will make it difficult for international companies now and in the future. They are shooting themselves in the foot at every turn trying to squeeze every last $ they can out of international companies.

Although I now can't see it happening, god help Indonesia if the Golkar Party and Bakrie get in. It will be a return of the Suharto days. Thankfully it looks like Jokowi will get in, he will be a saviour of the KPK and the Indonesian people. However he will not stop graft completely anytime soon.

Now that Thamrin is gone from QPN they will need all the help they can get. Hopefully Prabu Energy has the people they need. If not they WILL need a lot of loaded "brown paper bags".

Ranau PSC has massive unrealised upside potential. The potential is unlikely to be realised anytime soon. QPN gave also done themselves no favours by outright lying in past announcements.

* crew mobilised to site in readiness for drilling....nothing occurred.
* capital raising for drilling activities....nothing occurred and funds depleted on overheads and salaries

Time they fessed up with an open an honest announcement as to what the hell is going on.
