When the price hit $23 today I decided to sell. I had to logon to ComputerShare because my LEI shares are held there, not on my Westpac Share Trading Account for some reason.
After fighting through the fifty questions about the name of my Grandmother’s middle toe and the colour of a Weddell Seal, I eventually managed to get onto the ComputerShare website. I could not find any way to sell my shares, and by then the ASX was closed. I did find that I had shares in five other companies that I did not know about!
So I phoned ComputerShare – after numerous button selections, was told that in addition to the fifty questions above I need to have my HIN or SIN or some other number. I thought surely they would have that. Anyway he checked my account and told me how many LEI shares I owned, which was more than listed on the website so I figured I would go with his number.
I just have to find some 10 digit number when I go home tonite that may resemble the number he wants so that he will sell my goddam shares for me!
I know this probably should have been posted in the Humour section, but it does relate to LEI also.
Rgds, Ken
