You are probably neglecting those holders that were in this stock prior to the first trading halt, when the last traded price was $4.18.
As for traders it was a dangerous punt that many took, me included.
It certainly reaped great rewards for some and not so great for others.
PLA is my FGE, I guess if you play the market you are bound to come across this type of situation.
