never met a litigation lawyer who reckoned there case was without merit.
they all run the line, we have an arguable case, sometimes it aint just a very good one.

contract wins are only the start. you have got to deliver. hwe went bust after getting a big contract, and so have countless other smaller contractors. the issue is too big, too quick. it stretches managment, systems and working capital. in the event of something going wrong, they just cant cope as they are to leveraged / spread to thin.
everyone was doing high fives about roy hill. no one i recall here had any idea what this would means in terms of actual earnings, or likely working capital needed to mob to site, start the job before first payment ( hint divide contract value by number of months duration and allow 2 months for working capital - you will be surprised how much this contract will need upfront which they clearly did not have.)
it is sad how many got sucked in with aggresive ramping which was hype rather than facts.
