mintails to start hard rock mining again

Mintails Limited (ASX:MLI) (“Mintials” or “the Compan
y”) updates the market regarding the temporary
suspension placed on its open cast mining operations by
the Department of Mineral Resources (“DMR”)
last month.
Mintails has reached agreement with the DMR for a lif
ting of the orders, for a period of 15 business
days, from Monday, 15 February, 2014. This temporary
lifting will allow Mintails to re-commence its
open cast mining activities while the Company and th
e DMR work together in an effort to resolve all
outstanding issues.
The agreement with the DMR has been endorsed by court
order and has resulted in the postponement,
but not the withdrawal, of Mintails’ application to
the court for a lifting of the suspension
notices. Minitals remains committed to resolving the
issues raised by the DMR amicably.
