The interest by the Luobupo group in Karinga Lakes is intriguing considering the current resource size. Admittedly KL is close to infrastructure but the current resource size dictates either a small operation or a short mine life.
It will be interesting to see what terms are offered. It would have to be a percentage stake in the project, perhaps 25% and a guarantee to source debt.
Perhaps the real interest is in the other assets that RUM have. Lake MacKay would be a more substantial project.
I am following this from the perspective of a RWD investor. RWD has a substantially larger SOP resource which could increase dramatically based on new tenements acquired following the same Geoscience report that RUM has taken advantage of.
