here's one chart i can post that matters -

gold price looks like it is trying to break out of downtrend.

after double bottoming at 1180ish, if it can close out above 1270 area, it may be one of the best resources to be in for the coming year. especially if the dow starts to tank, which looks possible.

how this translates to explorers is hard to say, but if commissioners can get production up and running now, as you say they are, this will prove to be a very popular little stock to buy.
