Very strange situation here. Net of cash, TAS now selling for less than the value of its EDE shareholding. We should know within a month if RIO are exercising stage 2 of JV. Its not a given that they won't as apart from the intermittent results of the drill program, there is a bigger picture situation that if RIO let the JV go, they risk BHP jumping in. Given the vast area of the JV which surrounds Olympic Dam on two sides, there are strategic influences also in play. Current share price is crazy and given the upside chances in EDE if they can settle their sale of Shale properties in the UK, its a situation that may well change quickly.
