If there is one this I've learnt it's to take "broker consensus" with a grain of salt. I've currently 5 portfolios in the BRW sharemarket game. Most are currently in the top 10%, with only 1 not out performing the index/"market".
That one? The one I picked using broker recommendations. Even my dartboard style stock scan has a performance 3 times that of the brokers
