kh1961, have you a link for the core samples? I noted that six or seven cores had been drilled, but couldn't find the results. The only results I came across were for bucket samples.

As to upgrading the mine, you say they can do that for minimal cost to replace the rail and carriage system - really? Sounds pretty exy to me! plus they haven't got an operating mill, etc. etc.

Any production figures for this century? Although the mine was "operating" I couldn't find any output - it seemed to me as though the time was spent renovating it to make it safe to work.

Hope the grandkids didn't carve up the house too much.
