After agonizing over this one long and hard the best I could conclude was that there had to be at least a reasonable chance of migration path, conditional on there being that productive kitchen nearby. Structure is elongated 10-11km in the N-S orientation, so plenty of possible intercept path across the general NE migration trend; other fields Tui, Maui B, possibly Manaia[@Mangahewa level], are almost certainly hydrocarbon ex Kahurangi Kitchen and therefore are demonstrating that hydrocarbon can either pass through or bypass the North Cape Shale; potential large hydrocarbon column underlying North Cape Shale could have initiated breach of strata in near vicinity to structure; North Cape Shale at maximum thickness at Kiwi and thins to the south [poor quality Kiwa, Hector, Pukeko] so intermediate quality at Matuku uncertain.
