Is this the position:
Magnum has been paid to receive essentially a 25% stake in the Canning and the Cooper?
In return Magnum has given up some Eagle Ford producing land.
This could be seen as a positive-ie Magnum's entry- if the deal wasn't so good for Magnum.
Conoco must be wondering about NSE's management.
