SECRETS & Lies could be one of the most successful Aussie shows ever - and it hasn't even gone to air yet.
The Network Ten drama has been sold to the UK and Norway, just weeks after it was announced that the ABC network in the USA was set to make a 10-part American version.
Secrets & Lies is described as "a nerve racking plunge behind the curtains of suburbia following the story of Ben, an everyday family man who finds the body of a four-year-old boy and quickly becomes the prime murder suspect.
The Aussie version of Secrets & Lies stars Martin Henderson (Off the Map), Diana Glenn (The Slap), Anthony Hayes (Devil's Dust), Ben Lawson (Neighbours) and Adrienne Pickering (Rake). It will screen in six one-hour episodes.
"From the moment we started collaborating about Secrets & Lies, we knew that we had an incredible piece of television in our hands," Tracey Robertson, CEO of production company Hoodlum, says.
"This acquisition, before the show has even launched in Australia, alongside the recent commissioning of a US version, is testament to the quality of this production."
