Those were the days (of high expectations-again). Riviera, now aren't they an example of when everyone wrote them off when they went into receivership, they faced a GFC, a wholesale board & management change yet, for once, the banks (to their credit on this occasion) decided the core business was worthwhile, invested in new plant, models etc sell it to a cashed up Qlder (wasn't you was it mick?) and I read now they are going gangbusters, approx 55% are exported even with our 'too high dollar' (imagine if & when we get back to ow 80's) and the product has improved immensely.
Can we take anything from this example, yes, don't write of RMG due to past management, mistakes or markets. Look at it with fresh eyes on the latest info.
