The conventional oil leads in EP 448 are exciting and now the added adjacent 12-10 blocks give added incentive interest to potential farmin partners. EP 448 is in a very remote place which meant the hunt for unconventional hydrocarbons was/is hard to farm out as the infrastructure is not in place if a discovery was made and therefore the costs of development and the time made it years off.
The conventional leads change this situation making any oil discovery far more viable and attractive to a farmin partner especially the shallowness of the prospects. It would also lead to infrastructure being established which may lead to quicker farmout of the unconventional leads or maybe a farmin partner takes them both.
