I think they need at least 1,000 or it might be more shareholders holding at least $2,000 worth

Trust me back in the Uranium boom days this was the only way to get into IPOs which you'd stag day 1 for many bags

Multiple accounts were great as they all were eligible for the minimum $2,000 parcel

I think ASX then changed the rules so regardless of how many accounts you had it would only count as one I can't remember now
