Borroloola, I think we need to question the income , position and actions of all CCU board members . They should all take a pay cut because they have not delivered since the departure of the previous CEO. It has been 6 plus months since his departure was announced and from the end of end of May since the new CEO took over .
Since then what have we seen ? Have they made any improvements to the companies production levels ( a little but I personally think not enough) , reduced costs,( possibly but we really don't know because there has been no communication on this ) improved their communication to shareholders ( I have not seem that at all which always concerns me , because if you have good news you would tell the world , wouldn't you ) , what's the debt position of the company, what are Magna's intentions if any?
What still disappoints me is that the chairman and one other board member only have a combined total of 120,000 shares between them,. They should show their confidence in the company by buying a lot more shares. Realistically all board members should have at least 5 million plus shares each and at current prices being very cheap , should be obtainable .
I have always believe that if board members have enough SKIN IN THE GAME , they would have a lot more to loose but more importantly show shareholders that they are with us., and are working hard because they also have a lot to loose. At least the previous CEO had and still has over 21 million shares .
In order to let the board know I believe that every shareholder should attend the up coming AGM , and ask questions to the board before voting on the resolutions being proposed, and more importantly ask questions.
Furthermore the timing of the AGM during the Melbourne cup week , where a lot of people would use this period to take a long weekend holiday and this meeting is bang smack in the middle. Fellow shareholders If you care about your share holding you should attend ( I am talking about all share holders) this AGM.
