The placement options have not been given out yet, I don't think. Assume the Peloton investors sold their last lot at a profit, and when they get given the new options, those will get a profit, too, because it will be around launch time. So, for now, the lower they are priced, the more profit exists later for them. Option holders (like me!) just have to wait it out.
