G'day Parky :), that report mate was a ripper. It goes without saying that diversity of operations in our business has been the main driver for a vastly improved performance.
Energy sustainability is no longer just an in-house strategy, it's world wide, and given the importance of coal seam gas, shale gas and lng in achieving that strategy, Gladstone and North Q'ld are going to be our cash cow for a number of years.
Without doubt we are in the right space to take advantage of our countries energy needs, and once the cyclical nature of coal mining comes back to the fore, our company should be in a very enviable position.
Mate if I knew, or had any idea of where we may end up s/p wise, I'd either sell the beer bottles and coke cans and buy as many WDS as I could, or I'd sell the lot now.
I know where I want, or where I would like it to be, but on reflection, if I look back just a few mere weeks ago, we were sitting at around 36c, so I'm happy to go with the flow.
I think once the coal industry resumes normal activity I would like to think we are back at high $1,s maybe even low 2's, but for now, mate I'm just basking in what we have been given, and that is tangible promise by management, as opposed to rhetoric by past governance.
