I'm not an analyst.
Since 2004, as a small part of what I do professionally, I have written for one of the two professional text publishers on investment and finance. This includes advice to professional advisers on how to research product (mainly managed funds and public offer super funds) i.e. private advisers need to know how to go about doing their own research and not just rely on their licensee and/or a proprietary research house. I also wrote a diploma subject some years ago that included how to do basic financial research, again mainly on managed funds.

Even in my prime my computer skills and lack of higher maths competency would have precluded me from a job as an analyst (and my professional ego which raged unchecked in those years probably would've prevented me working as an employee anyway).

We were told in Melbourne that Mr Goh had been duped by a third party, that he is an honourable man who has continued to advocate for the company and be helpful to the cause, notwithstanding the embarrassment / issue of these shares. We were told that the company has acted scrupulously in relation to this parcel of shares and that Mr Goh has made periodic payments (and interest I think?) so that the amount of the debt is reducing.
