Rager, who gave you those reassurances? Genuine question, not trying to catch you out.

I too think this is the 'real deal'. I've assessed all the risks and think it's worth taking a punt on. If it doesn't work out, I lose some of my savings. If it works out, the world gets a few new facilities for providing people with cheaper medical care, and I (hopefully) get some money which will allow me to leave my bureaucratic job and start two small businesses for myself.

The actions of the past which raised so much concern were about keeping the company alive and ensuring that the present board and management stayed in their positions. As it turned out, management survived and the company survived. Now, having got through that, can they pull off this deal? Is their technology so attractive that the other investors will join our venture? They're certainly getting closer to joining, after having taken a long hard look at us. Can management pull it off? They seem to be bringing the process to a conclusion.

Participating in the SPP means taking a bet that the management can deliver on their promises. Everything to date suggests to me that they are single-minded in pursuing success. And in this case, their interests in getting a deal away appear to be aligned with those of shareholders.

    Each to their own.

Why, now, blow wind, swell billow and swim bark!
The storm is up, and all is on the hazard.
