This may be a chance to recoup some of your losses and 'get (partly) even' for what has happened.

The threshold question is the extent to which you trust management to deliver the goods. I leave that to each of you to decide. However please don't miss the fact that this announcement does represent quite an opportunity.

Rager I think I saw something of an apology hinted at in the mention that the board recognises shareholders' patience in supporting the company through to this point, and the decision to provide recompense in the form of free shares. I'm not sure that providing these shares will give much recompense - the allocation will likely just result in a proportionate fall in the share price, to balance the new supply against the existing demand, leaving everyone no better or worse off. Nevertheless I acknowledge the gesture and reply by saying that the best gift that management can give to shareholders is sound management in the pursuit of profitable opportunities. A quick and happy resolution of the Goh matter - which still stuns me that it ever happened - would be part of this good management.

Now, where's Sydney? I'd like him to crunch the numbers for us on the new proposals.
