Any Chinese "investment" would be to progress the takeover, probably via more puppet holders out of China/HK.

Up to management to PROVE they have something and get some decent independant SIs on board to dilute ASF out of the picture.
Sorry if I appear anti PRC investment, well, basically I am. There is just too much baggage that comes with the investments and they can be total control freaks.
There are also other factors. I have sat in meetings around simple IT Support contracts with ex-military hacks whose idea of negotiation is how you can help get their kids into Aussie universities (although that was quite a while ago, maybe attitudes have changed).
