If it was fully franked....gross it up pre tax 35.7c
pay tax at 48c and nett is 18.57cents in my sweety little hand.
If it is tax deferred income, then I pay no tax today, and it affects my Capital gains cost base.
i.e max tax is 24.25%. Thus netts me 18.93cents.
