The Mahalo pilot scheme was pleasing to Comet Ridge's Managing Director, and the aim of Mahalo was to lift water from the coal seam, reducing the pressure in the area around the wells, and allowing gas to desorb from the coal and flow to the well.

Ultimately the objective of the pilot is that one or more of the wells will produce gas at commercial rates which will allow gas resources to be converted to gas reserves.


Looks like, Comet Ridge is just getting prepared with licenses, along with its drillings and just a matter of time, before this gets noticed by the wider market.
