I spoke to Ken a couple of weeks ago , he felt they did not want to over promote.
Ie he feels if the trials of the current garbage trucks is successfull the garbage companys involved will allready have brake requirements that exceed the demand ABV is able to supply. He does not want to get in a situation of promising and not being able to deliver product.
Best to crawl and bottom feed before you are able to walk.
Also there may be demand for the brakes with triple side dump mining trailers in WA
personally I like his strategy, there is also the problem with having sufficient working capital with large orders plus if there was a fatal flaw in the design not found out through testing but used real world in a situation anomalous to testing situations, the company would be stuffed with a recall of many units.
I know the product works on large vehicles as Massey Fergusson tractors have been using a similar system of oil cooled disc brakes since the late 1960s on probably millions of tractors and I have personally done over 6000 hours on Fergys with the system in loader work , it is virtually fail proof.
Unfortunately the company shareprice is being hit as investors are currently weary of company's that have low EBIT and require possible cash injections for R&D. The slow roll out of the first 10 garbage trial units also has not been a good look when compared to the time line chart they put out earlier in the year.
