Good starting rain here today - 5-15mm. Some have canola out of the ground already (myself included) and days away from having barley out too. Continueing sowing cereals. Well ahead of where we would normally be. Gotta love the GM canola gig. Plenty of subsoil over here this year so WA is looking good ... if you have enough credit available to you to plant all your want to.
Debt bomb is ticking over here. Basis is extremely strong at the moment for WA wheat. Doesn't make much sense because our production prospects are good where the growers have credit.
