ICMPL has submitted an application for a Mining Lease at Badia. The Badia mine had previously been operated by Hindustan Copper Limited before it was closed and the lease surrendered in 2004. During the quarter, village maps and other reports required by the District Forest Office (DFO) were provided to the District Mining Office in Jamshedpur. The DFO subsequently issued an order to submit its corresponding report which remains under preparation and is being followed up by IRL."

Who has done research on the old Badia mine which HCL closed some years ago due to low Cu prices?

I can see why IRL is interested and maybe they aren't interested in copper.
