*** it looks as though there is a concerted effort now that the position of Director General of Renewable Energy has been filled by Rida Mulyana. It also looks as though they may be starting with the larger projects and working their way to the smaller ones although that is entirely unconfirmed at this point. Patience Grasshoppers....

JAKARTA - Directorate General of New Renewable Energy and Energy Conservation got a new captain. Ir Rida Mulyana M. Sc today, Thursday, January 31, 2013 officially lined up to lead the youngest in the ranks of the Directorate General of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) it.

Rida was appointed as Director General of Renewable Energy with seven first-echelon officials of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Jero other by Wacik, on the 10th floor of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources Building, Jl Medan Merdeka Selatan No. 18 Jakarta.

At the same time, also inducted four Echelon II officials in the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, three of whom are assigned to assist the Director in the Directorate-General Rida Renewable Energy.

Rida's appointment, ending a leadership vacuum at the Directorate General of New Renewable Energy, after the Director General of the long, Kardaya Warnika retire as of 1 September 2012.

During the period of vacancy, the leadership of the Directorate General of New and Renewable Energy Dr Ir Djadjang carried Sukarnapura as the Secretary of the Directorate General of New Renewable Energy. Along appointment Rida, Djadjang drawn to become Advisor to the Minister of Energy for the Economy and Finance.

Mulyana Rida himself, previously Head of Planning and Cooperation of the Secretariat General of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources. He counted a third Director General who led the Directorate General of New Renewable Energy, after Lulu Sumiarso and Kardaya Warnika.
