jaluma ... if you one already owns shares then yes it would be a no brainer to take up the 1 cent offer.
Re my "valuation" I actually wouldn't pay that for this stock. The other value I used of 3.3 cents might be closer to the mark but then I'd discount it for market (i) poor reputation of this stock, and (ii) potentially all of my next paragraph comments.
However, for me I simply don't like the business model. Over the years of over-gearing the company they purchased a patchwork quilt of businesses that have IMO limited synergies, which have no competitive advantage, and no real recognised brand. At the end of the day I don't believe have created a better business.
Hence why I've stayed away from 3 cents to 5 cents + to now.
