Thanks for your detailed response.

I guess that the difficulty with arbitrage in converting MOGO to MOG + MOGOA is in the timing. How long is it going to take to get the registry to complete the exercise of MOGO?

Have you done a similar exercise? I have no experience with this, but I would think it would be a minimum of 5 working days from exercise notification to having a registered parcel of MOG and MOGA. In the meantime the arbitrage value could dissapear.

For example last year when NXS first hit gas, the sp went up very nicely only to retreat a few days later on uncertainty about the commercial prospects.

This scenario is a possibility with Gilbert1, so on the first good news I would be tempted to take profits by selling MOGO, even though in theory one might make more by exercising.

Any thoughts?
