Ten Network (ASX:TEN) incoming chief Hamish McLennan has lashed out at rivals Southern Cross and the Nine group, for acting as one company, ahead of any possible merger.
The former News Limited executive labelled the tie-up a ‘dog’s breakfast’.
His comments come amid media ownership debate in the Parliament, centred on the public interest of media mergers.
If approved, this merger would call an end to the existing affiliation between Network Ten and the regional broadcaster, Southern Cross. .
Network Ten last reported 4.2 million net loss to August 31.
