A bit like MMS, where I was lamenting that the apparent lack of investor interest shown is inversely correlated with the perofrmance of the company and the value it has created for its shareholders, for AUB it is even worse.
For a company that has grown EPS at a CAGR in the high teens since listing in 2005, and that has seen its share price rise by a sensational CAGR of 28% per year, it amazes me that it has seemingly no following, while so many non-investment grade companies have masses fawning all over them, trying to second-guess what tomorrow might bring (and hoping that the dice lands on the side with the right number of dots for them).
By comparison, I hardly ever think about AUB much; twice a year I simply open an ASX release from the company to see how much more cash has fallen into the tin, and by how much my dividend has gone up, and then I go back to reading my novel.
It's so easy with this company that it feels like cheating!
