I just read on the AVB forum that CCU is also choosen to be part of trial to hold an intra day auction on 37 ASX listed small companies from 12 to 2 pm.
My opinion on this is listed below.

You tell me about any changes in the ASX of the last couple of years that has been of benefit to retail holders.
I can not see any, it will be of benifit for the big players and the ASX imho.
We are moving rapidly towards an online Casino and all benefits to companies who trade on the ASX to access much needed funds are being put on the back burner, or should I blundly say are forgotten.
Its getting time to look for alternative ways of investing our hard earned money as the ASX has become a total joke imho.
And this latest new playing tool does only re-inforce my thinking.
Another sad day is upon us, and an other tool for the big boys will soon be inplace to suck more value out of the market at the expense of retailholders and the companies themselves.
Greed is taking over, and the very reason why we have stock exchanges will be gone.
From all the changes I have seen in the last 15 years of my time of investing on the markets, none has been benificial to us retail holders, and this will be another one.
