Actually, if you held this stock in the last 10 years you would have done quite well.
You would have picked up the shares for $3 (actually slightly lower).
In this time you would have received $2.62 in dividends and around $1.50 capital gain give or take.
This is a 13.66% p.a. return in simple terms. Not sure about the compound rate of return but would be a bit less. I would be happy with this return.
