CJT, it is in fact during times when the buying depth looks the most hideous that there is a sudden strong buying surge. In fact, when I saw the depth yesterday, I was half-expecting the share price to rise again. It has done that many times recently. It is like the real big buyers purposely leave the depth to create that weak looking buy depth to induce shaky holders to sell. If one has done their research and truly understand where VTI is at right now, it would be a fool to sell.
Cheers.
