Indicated and Inferred TREO at Cattle Creek and Western Creek in the Charlie Creek Alluvium fans is 114,050 tonnes (indicated) and 121,100 tonnes (inferred). A total of 235,150 tonnes TREO.
But, 'The Western Dam and Cattle Creek areas within which these Resources have been estimated represent less than 5% of the total area of potentially mineralised alluvial outwash within Crossland’s tenements.' (ASX Announcement 15 May 2012).
Extrapolating the 5% to 100% the inferred resource goes from 235,150 tonnes to 4,703,000 tonnes of TREO.
The total of the rare earths at Mt Weld is 7.9% of 23.941million tonnes of ore (Resource estimates, Lynas Web page). This equates to 1,891,339 tonnes of TREO.
In terms of size of resource I think Charlie Creek could easily give Mt Weld a run for it's money. Possibly better than 2:1.
Cheers
