I don't think its too difficult to work out! The Beta (unlike the alleged sucess of the Alpha) machine is totally incapable of producing the necessary veneer suitable for paper production as per the prospectus. Remember the plan was 100gsm RAW paper from the inner trunk core and 250gsm RAW paper from the outer core. The process involved cross-plying two veneers using natural resins in the veneer to bond, to create the paper. There is no evidence that the cross-plying process ever occurred commercially (or indeed was even feasible).

Recent company propaganda is that there was a conspiracy by the industy to stop them. This is nonsense because there was nothing to stop...... The other propoganda is that labour costs killed them- perhaps this was closer to the mark as it seems only a few thousand trunks were ever processed at Walkamin so the unit cost must have been rather high.

As for whther PPY is monitoring hot copper who cares- they can hardly sue US, if they had money for litigation they SHOULD be suing Hayot and Toit Bois for patent infringement- what about it Ramy?
