re: Ann: QRL: Becoming a substantial holder f... Jemster - I've enjoyed reading your posts the last couple of years... Same with UFX and a few others...

But sorry to say it... this ship is beginning to smell rather tainted...

I have a pretty decent nose for these things.

I don't like this latest development at all...

    Seems I'm not alone either...

FNT can't make any coin from QRL because even if QRL's SP recovers it would look very similar to a director or cornerstone investor selling their shares if FNT sold down their position when/if QRL's SP recovers...

It would also hurt QRL's existing shareholders by suppressing the SP rise... So it would be a double edged sword.

This was done solely to prop up QRL who needed the cash and manpower imo...

If QRL has what the majors want e.g. BHP then why not JV with BHP?

Spinning off Tassie was supposed to be about concentrating efforts on our existing leases in PNG - not about JV'ing with sister ships in distress to acquire more even bloody real estate...

Normally a glass half full kinda guy, but reached the end of my patience with the way this co. is being steered.

You can spin this latest development any way you like to make it sound positive... but the market certainly didn't think much of it.

Same as the JV with NCM who paid 10.5cps.

Appears the fruit doesn't fall far from the tree in the McNeil family as Peter very much appears to be walking the same walk that Bob did in his time at Macmin...

Those feeling frustrated and annoyed should do some research on Macmin (MMN) now AYN... it's very interesting what happened there...

The posts on that stock were even more interesting...

I'm sure I'll get totally s/canned for this post (Which is fine by me as I have the skin of a Rhino) but it's about time the sugar coating ceased and the blowtorch was applied.

I was once one of this stocks most enthusiastic supporters even rec'd it to a few people I know, but enthused about the last 2 years progress, I am not.

Next time I buy a stock and a poster is repeatedly negative, I will be asking myself why... Not telling them where they can stick their negative sentiment.
