imo the mkt falls in NY past two sessions may get some momentum, at least until the christmas rally followed by the usa pension monies looking for a home in the new yr.
meanwhile, keep very close to news from trf and ife.
the downs in the dow might just give us all a nice re entry point for trf and ife should good news come on that port.
surely, even sr finch is not that stupid to carry on pushing ahead at that iron ore pit knowing it is all going to go belly up ?
imho something smells very much indeed as to why he is carrying on the way he is by spending so much dough on all those encumbent employees who continue to work with their pick axes and shovels. he could pull and wait but he doesn't. there are contractual sales for 2 yrs. we don't know at what price but we do know there is no contractual date to deliver.
on balance, if that port facility gets the nod, and from the recent report, it's just a matter of bureaucratic pen pushing. i saw there was not likely to be any resistance from the enviromentalists either.
a lot seems to be missed by mr mkt imo but i agree the money is prob best in my pocket whilst i wait. we all know in reality that management has not been very upfront with us but in the end and if we can rely on all the signing off by sr finch that there actually is the stuff in the ground then surprise might just be to the upside.

hey guys, get some risk management in operation as you go forward. once i learnt risk management then these 'left field' events can be managed better. ok, mr finch is not exactly a left field event as such but he's too damned close for comfort.
