Deep sea oil drilling is currently going through the start of a boom. Months / years before drill ships are commissioned they are contracted out for long term contracts at $500 k per day. Look up Transocean's deal with Shell. Four UDW drill ships contracted for 10 years ......and they are no where near being built yet.

There are other examples like this.

Matrix entered into a co operation agreement with a European oil services company. Who do you think the company was? I think it was one of the biggest players in the oil services business .....i think this agreement will turn out to be a major enabler of Matrix achieving orders.

Just about all the drillships and large rigs are manufactured in
Korea and Singapore. It is a considerable advantage to Matrix that they are closer to these locations than Trelleborg, Balmoral or Core tec. In to the bargain , unlike those other businesses Matrix specialises in DRBMs. If i was buying DRBMs I would want my supplier's total focus rather than distractions from competing divisions, resources and other head office priorities.

Matrix are always emphasising quality, accreditation and the benefits of the Henderson plant. I think these are all critical aspects of satisfying the customers requirements for quick turn around quality product.

Research on the internet and you will see there is a lot of business coming down the pipeline in the deep sea drilling space.
