Sounds like there are several opinions regarding this 'shoot out'. IMO, the D&C conglomerate certainly knew what one another would bid...and it was decided for whatever reason that the D&G Pesca entity would put up the bid. Whether they can cough up the cash is another thing.

As webral and hunnini have pointed out, there are many uncertainties with this situation. Plenty of legal and sovereign ramifications I feel.

I have not been following the story but was tempted to buy in yesterday. The risk taker in me said BUY BUY...but a voice in my head reminded me that 'When something sounds too good to be true then usually it is.'

For the sake of the holders, good luck - it seems a good risk reward play. It hope it works out for you.
