    Yeah I bet D&C will flog of the asset straight away making a tidy profit along the way and they will be the big winners in all of this. xstrata might get a big discount on there original US$650m offer.

    But most importantly for me SRK SP will rise substantially when the money is paid.

    Big loser is the Russian who paid $2.75 per share. But he could end up with a stake in Cuervo which may be an even better project.
