re: Ann: AusTex's Daily Production Averag... Also you can't get down to your last dollar in real business. Its not like high school where you throw a bunch of theoretical numbers down and see if its profit or loss.
Something interesting to think on, though.....
In most cap raises, price is established behind closed doors and then the SP mysteriously tanks to the agreed number. Next thing you know a CR is announced. Was it insiders making a profit? Was it the investment bank massaging the price down? Nobody knows but the retail investors are naturally unhappy.
AOK's case is almost the inverse of this. Earlier in the year (April?) they issued Convertible notes to American instos - convert at 15c. These instos will almost certainly sell the shares on the TSX to create the market. They will want a profit on these shares. I suspect we are seeing any loose shares below 15c being mopped up before the good news starts flowing. They will then try to push the SP up so they can onsell to the TSX at a profit. AOK will probably raise some cash along the way also but 15c may be the price (same as Con notes).
