coppa, it would be worth a lot more than that if everything was working according to the original plan. But it ain't. And as the company isn't telling us what is wrong, just that production might be only half what the original plan was, we can't judge what it is worth, if anything, at the current silver price.
But you're dead right that they can't afford to muck around with other prospects. If the original model was based on costs of $30/oz with 2.0Moz production, and production is now 1.2Moz, then the cost/oz must be a lot higher than $30.
