I am with you LDerp, ev/oz can be Used as a very rough indication but I put little weight in the results and certainly would not buy based upon a cheap ev/oz.

Project npv takes into account the cost of extracting the gold and literally indicates what the net value of the gold is worth once it's in bars in our hot little hands.

All sorts of factors to consider when constructing a valuation, you could have 30m oz but if it can't be recovered or too much overburden etc it is not worth much in my eyes..
