EMS hold the rights to complicated malaria in children - the reason as I understand it that Chevron and others where so interested in what EMS was doing, was not necessarily centred around being potential investors in the company (though that could be on the cards - who knows) but because these companies want to be seen as good corporate citizens in the places they operate and to be able to have access to this type of weapon against this hideous disease would be welcomed in those communities
