Engineering and construction company WDS Limited (ASX:WDS) has won a $280 million contract with Australia Pacific LNG.
The three year contract includes works associated with 345 wells across 760 kilometres of gas and water pipelines in South East Queensland.
Managing Director Terry Chapman says that the contract is a major step for WDS and its largest single contract to date.
Mr Chapman says the contract justifies continued vast investment in project logistics by WDS.
The contract will commence next month and can potentially be extended by a further four years dependant on progress.
WDS reported a net profit of $8.5 million for the 2012 financial year.
